Megaherbs Research Shows Adaptation to Subantarctic Climate

Research into Subantartcic flowering megaherbs has shown that they adapt to make the most of the weather conditions on the Subantarctic Islands.  Of particular note is the Pleurophyllum speciosum on Campbell Island.  Our Southern Ocean expeditions explore Campbell Island during the megaherb flowering season and the size and beauty of these massive flowering plants are a highlight.
