In the Wake of Scott & Shackleton: Ross Sea Antarctica

“When they say this trip will change your life, they are right!”

“When they say this trip will change your life, they are right. You cannot travel to this part of the world without realising that mankind must care for the planet, and that when they do, nature responds. Macquarie Island and Campbell Island were like stepping into the Garden of Eden. It is possible for nations to cooperate in Antarctica for the good of all people...perhaps one day that will be possible across the other 6 continents. Highlights.....The Huts lovingly restored by the Antarctic Heritage Trust, the wildlife, the ice, the mountains, the weather, all of it, being as far south as it's possible to go in a boat. The Crew were absolutely fantastic from the Captain to the Hotel Staff to the amazing guys doing the disembarkations and embarkations to keep us safe, the Expedition Team and the Deckies... bloody legends all. If you are debating whether to go to the Peninsula or do this trip to the Ross Sea...there just is no choice if you want to see the real Antarctica, do this one.”
